14.4. Attempted Assault of a Government Agent
An intentional act where a person tries to physically attack a federal or state government agent (such as an FIB agent or State Trooper) but fails to make contact. This includes aggressive actions clearly intended to cause harm, such as swinging a punch or charging with a weapon, where physical contact does not occur.
