LS Federal First-Degree Murder Act First-degree murder is defined as the intentional and premeditated killing of another individual. This includes killings that occur as part of another violent crime, such as robbery or kidnapping.
Penalty: Life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, or death penalty if aggravated circumstances are proven (e.g., multiple victims, law enforcement officers, or particularly heinous acts).
