7.1. Terrorism
Terrorism Defined as the use or threat of violence, intimidation, or disruption to coerce or influence government policy or civilian behavior through fear.
Sentence: Up to 30 years imprisonment, life imprisonment if death occurs or if explosives/mass violence is used
Fine: Unlimited; subject to judicial discretion
Designation: Offenders may be flagged as federal security threats and denied bail or parole
